North Park is the largest of the parks managed by the Parks Commission, and it has the highest usage.

It has the Veterans Memorial "Spanning 40 feet in diameter, the memorial will include a black granite monument surrounded by brick pavers and flagpoles with flags representing all five branches of the service: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard."

The "boarders" love their skateboard park. The skate park, which includes site grading and installation of a 60-by-100-foot concrete slab, is located towards the front of the park to increase visibility and safety.

Another summer favorite is the disc golf course, with 18 holes, established in 2018.  In spring of 2023, the Park Commission, community members and with the guidance of Greatlakes Disc, planted over 30 trees to help both nature and the disc golf course. 

North Park is very family oriented, it has restrooms, a concession stand, and a 40-by-70-foot pavilion for family events such as the DBA's (Dorr Business Association) events: Christmas in the Park, Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Celebration or for your summer baseball games or fall football games.
